ITINERARY:

 Day 1: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City
Arrive in Ho Chi Minh city, the biggest commercial city of Vietnam. Transfer to the hotel. We stroll around the downtown to explore the different local ways of life. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city .

 Day 2: Cu Chi Tunnels (B)
Excursion to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels (60 km), visit the incredible underground tunnel network of over 200 kilometres hand-constructed by Vietnam Communist guerrillas, virtually underneath the U.S. bases, to stage surprise attacks.
Return to Ho Chi Minh city, visit the former Reunification Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Post Office, the China town with Binh Tay Market and Thien Hau Pagoda.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

 Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City - Vinh Long (B, D) 
Depart Ho Chi Minh city to Vinh Long, the heart of Mekong Delta (128 km). Upon arrival we take a boat trip for an exciting excursion around the tributaries of the mighty Mekong River to Cai Be vibrant floating market whose trading way is unique; each boat usually sells one particular item, whether it be pumpkins, pineapples or sugar canes… Walk around to see orchards, rice paper making workshop, rice crisp cake producing process..., enjoy diverse types of tropical fruits . Ride a bycicle around the village to see local daily activities, continue to a bonsai garden or fruits garden, boat building workshop, coconut candy and girdle cake shop. Evening enjoy Mekong Delta’s traditional music and songs performed by villagers.
Overnight in local house in Vinh Long.

 Day 4: Vinh Long - Chau Doc (B) 
Drive to Chau Doc, a riverside trading port near the Cambodian border (125 km). Upon arrival, visit the Temple of Lady Chua Xu built in the 1820s, where the biggest local belief-festival occurs yearly. Also visit the tomb of the town’s founder, Thoai Ngoc Hau, a mandarin who founded Chau Doc in the 18th century. Continue on by a boat trip to visit Cham community, and the floating fish farm on a large corner of Mekong River.

 Day 5: Chau Doc - Phnom Penh (B)
In the morning, board the speed boat for a 4-hour cruise to Phnom Penh, the capital city of Cambodia Kingdom. Enjoy the immensity of Mekong River and view the daily life of local people living and working on the river. On arrival in Phnom Penh we take an afternoon city tour of the National Museum, the Silver Pagoda, the Royal Palace and oldest shrine in the city, Wat Phnom.
Overnight in Phnom Penh.

 Day 6: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap (B) 
Early morning take speed boat on the Mekong River to Siem Reap, the ancient capital of Khmer Empire. Explore the ancient city of Angkor enterring Angkor Thom via South Gate, view the runs of Bayon Temple, Ta Keo Temple, "Jewel of Crystal" is dedicated to Hindu God Shiva and was erected at the end of the 10th century. Continue the journey to Thommanon, Chau Say temples, Baphoun, the Royal Palace, the Elephant Terraces, the Leper King Terrace.
Aternoon visit the epic Angkor Wat, the founder was Suryavarman II who reigned Cambodia from 1113 to 1152 and built the five towers in the 12th century. The plan of the pyramidal conception of the temple combined with spaces, alleys, ditches is an ancient masterpiece of architectural design and construction.
Evening enjoy Apsara traditional dance.
Overnight in Siem Reap.

 Day 7: Siem Reap (B)
To day we spend the entire morning in one of the jewels of Angkor, the graceful Banteay Srey Temple which means "Citadel of Women". This temple is built in the 11th century, of pink sandstone and presents the most graceful carvings in stone you might ever seen in your life. The temple is dedicated to God Shiva.
On the way back, stop at the three-tiered temple-hill of Pre Rup. There, view Banteay Kdei with its rarely seen sculpted female deities, the Lake of Srah Srang, and the impressive Ta Prohm Temple, which is dramatically enveloped by jungle.
End the day with a spectacular sunset viewed from the mountain temple of Phnom Bakheng. Angkor is truly one of humankind’s most awesome creations.
Overnight in Siem Reap.

 Day 8: Depart Siem Reap (B)
Free at leisure until transfer to the airport for departure flight.
